ELECTROLOGY

Electrology is permanent hair removal achieved through a series of treatments.
Electrolysis is performed by sliding a prepackaged sterilized probe (fine needle)
into the root of the hair follicle and applying a low intensity electric current to
disable/eliminate the cells responsible for hair growth.

Laser treatments are performed by emitting a light which reacts to the pigment
(melanin) in the hair follicle creating a heat reaction to destroy the follicle. This
is performed with a series of treatments spaced 4-6 weeks apart. Laser
will not work on hairs lacking pigment such as blondes and white hair. There are
many variables that will determine the best treatment plan for you. There are also
many lasers on the market and they are not all created equal. We use a class 4
medical grade, FDA approved laser.
